H2: Halloween 2

12:23:00 AM KB 0 Comments

Why am I sitting here looking at this Teaser Trailer in complete darkness? lol. I know this is fiction but I'm still watching my back right now. lol. Anyways. I love scary movies so I will be seeing this when it's released in August. In my opinion, the remake of Halloween that came out last year was pretty good. So, I guess I'll be looking at this one to see what happens next in the remake chapter.

What If Lil Wayne Had Tattoo Regrets...

8:45:00 PM KB 4 Comments

...like Pharrell did? Lately, alot of thoughts have been going around in the blogosphere about Pharrell having his tattoos removed through the laser removal procedure. Well, I agree that it seems like a terribly painful procedure. But I guess homeboy had to take the pain. Anyways, one day I was wondering, what would everyone's resulting inner emotion be if Lil' Wayne was to have the laser removal procedure done for his many tattoos. This pain would feel like 200 lightning bolts striking you while you're taking a bath in freezing cold water with 10 jellyfish surrounding you and 4 powerlines running through the bathroom all at the same time. That's hellafied. Lmao. That's rediculous. And I'm kind of overexaggerating the amount of pain in comparision. lol. Anyways, Lil Wayne does have tattoos over nearly his entire body. So, that pain would be excruciating with tattoo laser removal. Horribly to the max though.

The Cell Phone...

1:11:00 AM KB 2 Comments

Can you imagine yourself in 2009, with a cell phone from the 1990's? Well, I know for sure that I can't imagine myself walking around in public with this gigantic cell phone up to my ear. My wrist & fingers probably would give out on me after a while. And I probably wouldn't want to phone talk anymore. Then, while on the move, this phone would make my purse feel hella heavy. lol. For me personally, these 1990's cell phones wouldn't work for me in these 2000's.

The World Is A Hustle

11:48:00 PM KB 0 Comments

How did I let this song by Lauryn Hill get passed me? Idk. I love this song. It's leakage was some time in 2008 and she's going in deep as usual on this 1. "What happens when all of the world is a hustle?" That's a good question.

DK Reunion...on MTB4 Finale...?!

1:52:00 AM KB 2 Comments

I'VE GOT TO SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT, BUDDY.
Last week was part 1 of the season finale & I was absolutely crushed. At first, my hopes were up high for the remaining members of Danity Kane but that was until Diddy cut the last sting of that hope by firing Aundrea. I was highly disappointed. I did cry a little also. Don't judge me. lol. I felt bad for little Aundrea, but then I started to feel really bad for Dawn. Because...now she's in this world all alone with Donnie & the boys of Day26. O yeah & (the man against B*tchassness) Diddy. lol. But for real,
I think Diddy made a little mistake with that decision. I think that he shouldn't have gave up on Aundrea like that. Think about it! Whoever wanted to be in Danity Kane, were there. DAWN & AUNDREA. Diddy made it seem like Aundrea didn't want to be there. But, obviously she did want to & then she had to put up with the crazy house drama every night & let alone not getting a steady pay check. So, you already know that she was still down with Danity F'N Kane.

The outcome would've been really cool if Diddy would've did a Destiny's Child type thing to Danity Kane.

You know what I mean? Destiny's Child got rid of Letoya & Latavia, which left Beyonce & Kelly in the group. They searched to find Michelle & Farrah. Then, Farrah Left.

Next outcome is DC3 with Beyonce, Kelly, Michelle.

FINAL OUTCOME! Best-selling group, grammys, etc., etc.

So, what I'm saying is that Diddy could've tried to make it work with the two that actually really really wanted to grind hard to keep their dream alive. I don't know. I'm getting a headache. This is why I haven't been blogging as much about MTB4. I love MTB very much but there's so much drama on the show that I don't feel like talking about it sometimes. It would be too much to gather. lol.

Before I stop with this...

I just need to say that D. Woods & Shannon both need to stop playing games & go back to Diddy to put up a fight for their career & their lives.

Your Words...dreams...thoughts...

2:31:00 AM KB 0 Comments

Your words, your dreams, and your thoughts
have power to create conditions in your life.

What you speak about, you can bring about!
If you keep saying
you can't stand your job,
you might lose your job.
If you keep saying
you can't stand your body,
your body can become sick.
If you keep saying
you can't stand your car,
your car could be stolen or just stop operating.
If you keep saying
you're broke, guess what?
You'll always be broke.
If you keep saying
you can't trust a man or trust a woman,
you will always find someone in your life
to hurt and betray you.
If you keep saying you can't find a job,
you will remain unemployed.
If you keep saying
you can't find someone
to love you or believe in you,
your very thought will attract more experiences
to confirm your beliefs.
If you keep talking about
a divorce or break up in a relationship,
then you might end up with it.
Turn your thoughts and conversations
around to be more positive and power packed
with faith, hope, love and action.
Don't be afraid to believe
that you can have what you want and deserve.

Watch your THOUGHTS,
they become WORDS.
Watch your WORDS,
they become ACTIONS.
Watch your ACTIONS,
they become HABITS.
Watch your HABITS,
they become CHARACTER.
Watch your CHARACTER,
for it becomes your DESTINY.
The minute you settle for less
than you deserve,
you get even less than you settle for.

Thought I would share this with you -

In the search for ME, I discovered TRUTH.
In the search for TRUTH, I discovered LOVE.
In the search for LOVE, I discovered GOD.
And in GOD, I have found EVERYTHING.
Watch how your circumstances and situations begin to change

when you change the way you speak.

Thanks to my aunt for emailing me these wonderful words of wisdom a long while ago. Like going through old boxes, I found these words in my email. And I'm happy that I did. Because they inspire me all over again. And hopefully, they will inspire you also.

Why is Derwin Davis...

from The CW's "The Game" so hot?!. Ladies, don't you agree that Marion "Pooch" Hall (a.k.a. Derwin Davis) is so F'N hot! When I look at "The Game", I always think in my mind, "Lord! This man is supa dupa fine." I think these thought with a very much serious face. lol.

*Sidenote*
After watching this man (non-stalkerishly) on "The Game" for a couple years, I've recently come to find out that in real life, he's very much married with 2 children. So, my dreams of living a life with him are officially up in smokes as of now. Lol.

Mar/Apr Best Dressed List

9:45:00 PM KB 4 Comments

In my opinion, these people are the Best Dressed right now & they're really doing it big with their unique styles.

Rihanna...
She is my favorite person when it comes to style. What can I say? Everybody knows that she's a real fashionista & her style is ridiculous. No matter what the circumstances are she's always looking her best.

Kanye West & Amber Rose

They have been really getting around over the last month. And everywhere that they've been spotted, their collaborative styles have been really noticable in a very good way. Kanye West's style pre-Amber Rose was super insane. But when Amber Rose came in the world of his Universe, things changed. His style went out this world & her style went right along with his. So, their put together outcome came to be HYPER INSANE.

Keri Hilson is dope. She is on my favorite list for best dressed. Keri has been doing her own thing with her style since a long time ago. And she's one of those people with the 'whatever I feel' styles. Which I love! But alot of people just recently came to notice her style because she's much more in the spotlight now with her album. She's dope, yo.

I am reporting...The Recent Outbreak...

8:47:00 PM KB 0 Comments

...of B*tchAssNess.!. Yes. I am reporting & blogging about it. Mainly, because lately in the arena of my eventful life, I've been seeing/witnessing alot of b*tchassness going around through the grapevine. And honestly, it's not cool at all. And I think it's time for me to express how I feel about it to help the situation a little bit. I'm not judging anybody whatsoever because I've grown up a bit and I'm doing alot of non-judgementality. (word?) whaaattt. lol. So, yeah. I have no intentions to embarrass or hate on anyone. I'm just expressing how I feel because this is a Blog right?!. And if you know me, you may know that I have rational thoughts or opinions for a lot of things. But I don't necessarily lend those thoughts out all the time unless I'm wanted to by that (those) person(s). Basically, I'm being a realist. Sooooo, (the point.blank) There are some people in my life, who I may know personally or in whatever other way, that I feel as though have been diagnosed with the symptoms. And they may not know that they are diagnosed with the outbreak called "B*tchAssNess"! LOL. Ok. No, but 4real. This has to stop. I don't know what's the cure... some people need it soon though!

According to
urbandictionary.com, the definition of "B*tchAssNess" is one that acts like a b*tchass & also is considered a disease (referred to in an epidemic sense) to Diddy.

The symptoms are:
  1. Not Taking Care Of Your Responsiblities
  2. Overall Hating
  3. Stating You Were About To Do Something When You Know You Weren't
  4. Getting Called Out On Your Bullsh*t & taking a b*tchlike approach
  5. Crying Like A B*tch about simple things (Whining OR Throwing Little Hissy Fits)
  6. Acting Like You Are Better Than Someone
  7. Acting Salty

Here's Diddy recently discussing the issue of b*tchassness (&trying 2 sell/promote something as usual).

P.S.~SORRY to those wonderful & innocent people in the Blogospere who had to witness this, but I had to go in hard to express my feelings for the people with the outbreak. You feel me?!. Thoughts/opinions anyone????

Mikey Eats Everything Right?!

I guess. Lol. Many times I've heard the phrase "Mikey Eats Everything". But then one day, I was wondering who the hell is Mikey. Some time last year, I did my research into this "Mikey", and I came across this very interesting, funny & cute commercial/video. This video is the Life Cereal commercial from which looks like the early 90's maybe...i have no idea...just going off of the looks of the video. Anyways, It's was really hilarious & cute. So, a couple minutes ago, I thought it would be nice to put it on here. Check It out! And let me know if you've ever heard of Mikey...

Dr. Eric M. Dyson Debate On MSNBC About Race. (Very Interesting!)

8:19:00 PM KB 0 Comments

I had to view this video a few times over because that's just how real it is. And I was very surprised. I saw this last month but I'm posting and blogging about it now.

THE STORY
What's going on is that Pat Buchanan & Dr. Eric Michael Dyson disagree over the appropriateness of Eric Holders' speech in regards to his race comment calling America cowards in the matters of race. What I love from this video is that the disagreement gets deep and Dr. Dyson gets deep with it & it goes beyond Eric Holders' comment.

CURVEBALL
Throughout this video, MSNBC has sound problems & continuously and literally cuts off Dr. Dyson. You just don't know how f*'N aggravated I am to MSNBC's so called technical problems because this man was and always have been telling America's ugly truth. And just so happens, I was actually trying to both hear & listen (there's a difference people) to what he was expressing. COME ON, MSNBC! UGHH. TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES ALRIGHT!!!! This man is the realest AND a realist. I've appreciated him since he started shutting it down on Hip Hop vs. America. I could go on forever to express how I feel. So, let me not go any further.

Nike Greco Supreme

3:04:00 PM KB 9 Comments

Last month, Keri Hilson was seen rocking a pair of NIKE GRECO SUPREME. Me, myself, I am a NIKEhead, so I usually live for the coldest Nike sneakers around which is anything opposite of the Air Force 1's (a.k.a g-nikes). Played. In previous years, I've seen the Greco's around but for some reason I haven't been picking up on them or giving them much attention. Since my Nike life has been expanding and my attention has been so much on my Blazers lately. I'm a Blazers Girl! I think it's time to see about something else. That something may be the Nike Greco Supremes. And honestly, I think some Nike Greco Supremes are kind of dope. And they look really comfortable.

This is the version from the movie Cadillac Records, which is based on Beyonce's version... I'm a fan of both the original & new version. Leah did her thing on this 1 & I absolutely love when she sings the "I was just, I was just..." part.

Why Are These Hood Chicks Fighting? (LOL)

2:46:00 PM KB 1 Comments

Why is this filmed fight hilarious and a little embarrassing!?. I'm embarrassed for them. They are fighting at a populated gas station. I don't know what's going on but one of them is using a shoe as she fights. And the end is somewhat funny as 1 girl w/ the gold & black tights finally gets up from being murked really bad by another girl. lol.

"WHAT?" Marlon Jackson's Slavery Theme Park!!

2:44:00 PM KB 1 Comments

(Sigh!) What do you think? Read the rundown first.

Marlon Jackson, a former member of the Jackson Five, is involved in plans to build the Badagry Historical Resort Development Project, which would feature a memorial and a museum about slavery.

But some historians have condemned the project, which would include a theme park with a slave ship replica, along with casinos, shops, a golf course and condominiums.

The resort would also house memorabilia from the glory years of the Jackson Five, the classic Motown group known for hits including "ABC" and "I Want You Back".

The development group has said it hopes that the band will help attract African-American tourists keen to trace their roots back to Nigeria.

But critics have said that the project is exploiting a painful history.

Visitors would be able to visit a replica slave ship and walk the route their shackled ancestors walked before playing a round of golf or relaxing by a pool.

Via:
Telegraph.co.uk

*MY THOUGHTS & OPINION*
Now. Woah. O.K.
Let me tell ya'll that this "DOES NOT" seem like a very good idea. Like really. In my opinion, it doesn't. It does not seem fair, at all. Honestly, if or whenever in my lifetime, I am to visit Nigeria, I do not plan on visiting this theme park. Last semester at Texas Southern University, I visited the Slavery Exhibit at the University Museum. It was for my Fine Arts/Music class. Anyways, there was some serious and powerful stuff going on in that museum that day. And do you really want to know something? After my viewing of & holding actual 'slave shackles' & all kinds of other slave items, my fellow classmates and I were not, i repeat we were not in any mood to celebrate after that experience. I had conversations and thoughts about that stuff for an entire week. So, coming back to this Slavery Theme Park & Resort plan. Do you actually think that I would visit this slavery theme park resort where everything is revolving around this replica slave ship life and then I would have tons of fun and live it up around this. Should I say, "Let's go bowling on the slave ship deck (smiley face)?" COME ON NOW FOLKS, YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! That's not cool at all. So, I've done my research on this plan and it seems that they are very serious with it. But this is my views on that issue. I'm done now.

What do you think?

The Creative Style Of...Agyness Deyn

2:03:00 PM KB 1 Comments

Who: Agyness Deyn
Age: 26
B-Place: Greater Manchester, England
Occupation: English Model
Known for: Her Unique And Changing Style & Hairstyles

The thing that I admire about Agyness Deyn is that she makes such incredible fashion transitions & statements from the runway to magazine covers to producing her own personal fashion styles. And I would call Agyness a fashionista because fashion and style is what she knows best. What I love about her is that when she puts something on she's so free & raw with it. She puts on what she feels like and basically not caring what people think she should be wearing.

My Fav. Albums from the 2000-2002 Music Era

2:41:00 PM KB 0 Comments

I believe that Music is my addiction. Period. It's like my first love. And in my life, there has always been a connection between Music & myself. I have decided that I will travel through all era's of music to show what I've been listening to over the years. I have 500+ cds and I think it would be interesting to pick the favorite ones of each year from my collection. And see how my ears & heart have grown over the years. I've decided to start with this decade's era because of whatever reason...So here we go!
2000
Eminem-The Marshall Mathers LP
This album is so dramatic to me. Eminem can be hilarious at times and then serious at other times. Eminem is really a creative rapper & I can see from this album how he's a good rapper. My favorite songs are 'The Way I Am', 'Stan' & 'Kill You'. When I first heard the song, 'Kill You', I was in awe & disbelief because this song is about his mother, Kim. Poor Kim! This song is really creative in a very very strange way though. My favorite line is "You Don't! Wanna F*ck with Shady! Cause Shady! Will F*ckin' Kill You!" lol. (I STILL ROCK WITH THIS ALBUM)

Nelly-Country Grammar
I haven't listened to this cd in a long while but I used to listen to it all day long. This album is the real definition of Nelly! I wonder why Nelly doesn't get the kind of attention Now that he used to get back THEN.

Mya-Fear Of Flying
I love this album so so much! I still listen to this in the cd player & on my iPod like IT just came out this year. Mya did her thing on this cd. She does on every album though. I love just about all the songs on here. My favorite favorite songs are 'Man In My Life', 'How You Gonna Tell Me', 'Now Or Never', 'Fear Of Flying', 'Can't Believe', 'No Tears On My Pillow', 'Take Me Over (feat. Left Eye)' & 'That's Why I Wanna Fight'. I also love 'Best Of Me (Remix) (feat. Jay-Z)' but it wasn't on the album.
Big Tymers-I Got That Work
I'm still crazy over this. If you see me listening to it, I'm rapping all the words. I have no choice because Cash Money is what I grew up on & what I've heard everywhere I went. I remember how Lil' Wayne, B.G. and Juvenile was always on every song of each others album. And Lil' Wayne is all over this album & he was really cold then. My favorite songs are '#1 Stunna (feat. Juvenile & Lil' Wayne)', 'No, No (feat. Lil' Wayne)', 'N*gga Couldn't Know (feat. Lil' Wayne)' & '10 Ways' & 'Rocky'. I honestly believe that somebody (maybe B.G. OR LIL' WAYNE) wrote all of Baby's rhymes because there's no way in the world that his raps could be so cold like that then to be so stupid & lame now.

2001
Destiny's Child-Survivor
I used to live off this album. Nobody can do it better than Destiny's Child. They gave me my girl power. And I will always love Destiny's Child. My favorite fav. songs are 'Independent Women Pt. 1 & 2', 'Nasty Girl', 'Fancy', 'Happy Face', 'Emotion', 'Dangerously In Love', 'Brown Eyes', & 'The Story Of Beauty'. DC3 4EVER!

Alicia Keys-Songs in A minor
I'm am a real Alicia Keys fan. ALLDAY EVERYDAY! This album will always help me in my life. I feel like Alicia Keys was more raw & more realer on this 1st ALBUM. It was more of a 'What You See Is What You Get, you either hate it or love it'! And she didn't care. That's a different girl from the A.K. NOW. Every song on here is so so real & helps you in your life 4 everything. And her vocals are just ridiculous on this album. Love it! My favorite fav. songs are 'Piano & I', 'Troubles', 'Rock With U', 'The Life', 'Never Felt This Way (Interlude)', 'Butterflyz', 'Why Do I Feel So Sad' & 'Lovin' U'!

Aaliyah-Aaliyah
This album is a classic. Every song! Aaliyah really did her thing on this 1. Timbaland, Sean Garrett, Static Major, Missy Elliott & a couple others did their thing also when it came to writing & putting these songs together. And when Static Major sung on a couple songs, he's doing a little "Lollipop" type of autotuning. My favorite songs are 'We Need A Resolution (feat. Timbaland)', 'Loose Rap (feat. Static Major)', 'Rock The Boat', 'More Than A Woman', 'Never No More', 'I Care 4 U' & SO MANY MORE! R.I.P. Aaliyah! R.I.P. Static Major!

Nas-Stillmatic
This is another classic. I used to be on this cd really hard. Because Nas went so hard on this 1. My favorite songs are 'Rule (feat. Amerie)', 'Ether', 'Rewind', 'One Mic', 'Destroy & Rebuild' & 'Smokin'!

Ludacris-Word Of Mouf
I am forever a Ludacris fan. I haven't listened to this in a while. Sometimes I abandon him, but the things that he says is always clever & I'ma keep rockin with him. The album is a CLASSIC. Nearly every song is on point. My favorite songs are 'Roll Out (My Business)', 'Growing Pains', 'She Said', 'Saturday (Oooh! Ooooh!)', 'Block Lockdown', 'Cry Babies (Oh No)' & 'Cold Outside'!

Keke Wyatt-Soul Sista
Oh, how much do I love this album. 1 of my favs! My mama first put me on this when it first came out. She used to listen to this all the time in the car and at home. So, I started loving this dearly. And this is a classic! My favorite favorites are 'I Don't Wanna', 'Nothing In This World (feat. Avant)', 'Don't Take Your Love', 'Push Me Away', 'If Only You Knew' & 'Call On Me'! KEKE WHERE ARE YOU?!.

Lil Mo-Based On A True Story
Oh my! This used to be my favorite cd. I'd listen to this everyday. My favorites songs are 'She Could Never Be Me', 'Time After Time', 'Ta Da', 'My Story'... I can't remember some of my other favorites because this cd doesn't work anymore & I haven't really listened to it in years. But this is a wonderful album. I might have to go buy it again.

Michael Jackson-Invincible
This is it! OH! I forgot how much I used to love this album. I think I might have to get back on Invincible. This is a Classic. It ain't no Thiller or no Bad but It Is Still The Sh*t! Yes, I am a MJ FANATIC! My favorites are 'You Rock My World'(I love the video!), 'Butterflies' (Thx Floetry), 'Heaven Can Wait', 'Break Of Dawn', 'Whatever Happens' & 'Speechless' & 'Threatened'!
My favorite albums from 2003-2005 are coming soon!
